Choose an export that retains every variant
If a feed app or export service already produces Google Merchant XML for your store, start there. Siroua also accepts CSV and JSON Lines. For a Shopify CSV, you’ll need to map the columns and check a few imported rows before publishing.
Use one record per variant, with its own stable ID and a group ID linking it to the other variants. A row saying a shoe is ‘in stock’ doesn’t tell an agent whether size 44 is available.
- Preserve product grouping and distinct variant SKUs.
- Include price and currency together, and availability per variant.
- Map size and color into variant options rather than burying them in titles.
- Keep the original store URL and useful descriptions or images.
Check the mapping with a small sample
The following simplified CSV uses Siroua’s import vocabulary. It is an illustration, not an unmodified Shopify export. Both rows belong to the same product, but only the size-44 variant is available. Confirm your actual column mappings during onboarding.

Siroua fetches your feed on a schedule. A stock change reaches the catalog only after your export includes it and we import the update. Choose a refresh interval that suits how quickly your stock changes. Test both a price change and a sold-out variant.
Before an API checkout, Siroua checks the current imported catalog again. It doesn’t make a live inventory request to Shopify, so changes that haven’t reached the feed are still unknown.
Decide where shoppers will check out
You can send shoppers to your existing store checkout. Or you can enable Siroua’s API checkout using your own Stripe account. The API option is separate from Shopify checkout and Shopify Payments.
Importing a feed doesn’t create orders in Shopify or sync fulfillment. Before enabling API purchases, agree how your team will receive and handle those orders. Sending shoppers to your store is a simpler place to start if you want to keep your existing checkout.
Validate the catalog with shopper questions
Before connecting an agent client, compare results with the store: ask for a known SKU, an available size, an unavailable size, and a price ceiling that excludes a more expensive variant. Inspect product details rather than relying on a product-level price range.
- Does an exact SKU query retrieve the expected product?
- Does the requested size exist at a price inside the budget?
- Is a sold-out variant excluded when stock is required?
- Does a handoff lead to the right product on your own domain?
